Brassi Macro 'surrealist' Photography.
My Surrealism Work.
By researching Brassai, I now have a better understanding of how to manipulate an object to make it look dissimilar and unique. His work inspired me to use my wooden model and create the effect that his photographs have, making the photograph not look like the original object.
Depth of field original photo examples. Here are two original photographs to represent depth of field. One photograph is of a person standing in front of a brick wall. The foreground of the photograph is in focus allowing us to see the details of the person, but creating the background to blur a little still making the background visible enough for the viewers to see it is a brick wall. The other photograph is set on portrait to get the person and the basketball she is holding into focus, much like the first photograph. Also like the first photograph, the background of the path and greenery are blurred but not completely so the background is still recognisable.
